SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- With one month of spring football in the books, the Augustana football team is ready for their annual spring game at Kirkeby-Over Stadium. Kickoff is set for this Saturday, May, 4 at 1 p.m.
Although admission is free, fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable canned good item as a free-will donation to support Feeding South Dakota. Items of particular need right now are canned goods such as fruit, vegetables, soup/stems and spaghetti/ravioli type items.
The 2019 Augustana spring game consists of two teams, offense (White) vs. defense (Blue), and has four quarters with a running clock. Field position can change at any moment, dictated by play results or special teams performance. All drives that follow a touchdown or field goal begin at the 30-yard line.
Scoring system for the scrimmage is as follows:
Offensive Scoring
• Run of Greater than 10 yds = 1 Pt
• Pass of greater than 20 yds = 1 Pt
• Consecutive 1st Downs = 1 Pt
• FG = 3 Pts
• TD Downs = 6 Pts
• PAT = 1 Pt
Defensive Scoring
• Touchdown = 6 Pts
• PAT (Defensive Score) = 1 Pt
• Turnover = 3 Pts
• Forced Punt = 1 Pts
• Sack/TFL = 1 Pt

here. Highlighted by six home games, including Viking Days, Hall of Fame and a 10th-anniversary celebration of Kirkeby-Over Stadium, Augustana Football will play 11 NSIC games throughout the season.
