SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Hy-Vee/Sanford Legends for Kids held their annual football clinic at Kirkeby-Over Stadium on the campus of Augustana University Friday afternoon.
Helping instruct drills at the camp were former Minnesota Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway, former Augustana Viking running back and current Minnesota Viking
CJ Ham and current Detroit Lions running back Zach Zenner.
Ham became the fifth Augustana student-athlete to sign with an NFL franchise in program history and was a four-year letterwinner on the Augustana track & field team. Ham helped the Augustan Vikings advance to the playoffs, and led the NSIC in rushing yards and touchdowns. He notched a career-high 1,097 rushing yards as a senior and 16 touchdowns, matching the school record, and became only the fourth Augustana running back to top the 1,000-yard plateau.
Greenway spent his entire 11-year career with the Minnesota Vikings. The Mount Vernon, S.D. native was drafted by the Vikings in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft after playing his college ball at the University of Iowa. Greenway finished his NFL career with 1,101 combined tackles (760 solo and 341 assisted), 62 tackles for loss and 18 sacks. He also had 11 interceptions and forced eight fumbles in 156 games played.
Zenner went to college at South Dakota State where he rushed for 6,548 yards which is third in the FCS record books. As a Lion, Zenner has played in 36 games and has rushed for 686 yards and has scored eight touchdowns.
