SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Augustana Athletics, alongside the NSIC and broadcast partner Midco Sports Network, is pleased to announce the television schedule for the 2019-20 athletic calendar. In total, MidcoSN will broadcast 15 Viking games on live TV, including three football games and six men's and women's basketball games.

MidcoSN will also continue to provide full coverage of the NSIC/Sanford Health Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments. New this season, MidcoSN will air all seven matches of the NSIC Volleyball Tournament that will be played at the Sanford Pentagon on November 22-24.

Key broadcast dates for Vikings fans include Augustana Football's season opener, Sept. 7, 2019, at home against Upper Iowa. The Saturday afternoon kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. at Kirkeby-Over Stadium. 

MidcoSN will also have live coverage of the 'Key To The City' game, featuring Augustana and the University of Sioux Falls. The Thursday night game takes place on Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. at Bob Young Field in Sioux Falls. Augustana's final televised game is set for Nov. 2, 2019, a 1 p.m. kickoff with Concordia St. Paul.

Augustana men's and women's basketball team will each have six games broadcasted this season, including five at their new home court the Sanford Pentagon. The first broadcasted Viking basketball game will be on Dec. 6, 2019, a doubleheader with Winona State. Augustana's rivalry game against Sioux Falls will be played on Feb. 21, 2020, and will also be broadcast on MidcoSN.

Overall, MidcoSN will air 10 NSIC football games, 18 NSIC regular season and 14 tournament basketball games and seven NSIC volleyball tournament matches for a total of 49 live events on MidcoSN this coming academic year. The partnership will continue the "NSIC Thursday Night Football Game of the Week", airing the first four weeks of the season from September 5 through September 26, with the other six football games airing on Saturdays. For the past five years, the NSIC and MidcoSN have partnered to broadcast numerous live and taped-delayed regular season and tournament contests from various NSIC sports.
