BROOKFIELD, Ill. – Augustana's
Jake Lacina has added another All-America accolade to his resume as the senior is named to the 2019 Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-America Team.

Lacina, a native of St. Paul, Minnesota, is the first-team selection at center. He is joined on the list by sophomore teammate
Luis Guarita, who was an honorable mention selection.

Lacina has been previously named to the AFCA and D2Football.com All-America squads. The 2019 Rimington Trophy award winner helped the Vikings reach the 2019 NCAA Division II Playoffs with nine wins, the second-most in program history. He led an offensive line that ended the regular season 19
th in the nation for tackles for loss allowed.

Guarita, hailing from Sao Paulo, Brazil, earns his first All-America distinction with his honorable mention. The kicker connected on 16 field goals, tying the Augustana single-season record. He ranked fourth in the nation for accuracy at 88.9 percent and 11
th in the nation with 1.33 made field goals per game.

The duo earned the Don Hansen All-America status after previously earning a spot on the All-Super Region Four Team.
