BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference announced that 79 Augustana student-athletes earned NSIC All-Academic honors for the 2020 fall athletic season Wednesday morning. Over half of those student-athletes, 48 total, earned the distinction of NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

"Student-athletes at Augustana continue to commit both in the classroom and in competition," Athletic Director Josh Morton said. "Continuing to lead the NSIC in All-Academic honors is a testament to their hard work and resiliency in the classroom."

Augustana's 79 student-athletes are tops amongst all institutions in the NSIC.
 
To be eligible for the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence, a student-athlete must have a 3.60 cumulative GPA or higher, while the NSIC All-Academic Team members must have a 3.20 GPA or higher.
 
Additionally, the student-athlete must be a member of the varsity traveling team, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at his/her institution and must have completed at least one full academic year at that institution.
