SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Augustana head women's tennis coach Marc Kurtz is pleased to welcome Gabriela Jancikova as a signee to the 2021-2022 roster. Jancikova is a native of Sosuvka, Czech Republic. 

"We are really excited to have Gabriela join our team next Fall." Kurtz said. "Gabriela is a strong student-athlete who will fit in great at Augustana. 

"Gabriela has been successful at many high-level tournaments in the Czech Republic and she has been a highly-rated player for many years. She is a solid baseliner who can dictate play with her ground strokes and she's not afraid to move forward and finish points at the net. She is rated a 9 UTR and will have an immediate impact on our team. I can't wait to get Gabriela on campus next Fall"

Jancikova will graduate from Business Academy and Hotel School Trebic in May of 2021. Jancikova's intended major is undecided.
