BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Augustana senior Taylor Jackson is the NSIC Player of the Week for women's tennis. Jackson helped the Vikings open their dual season 3-0.
 
Jackson, hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, earned victories at No. 3 and No. 4 singles while going 3-0 in doubles play. This past Friday, she scored a 3-6, 6-4, 6-4, win over Missouri Western while prevailing 7-6, 6-4, over Arkansas Tech on Saturday.
 
Jackson and doubles partner Anca Rusu, earned 6-3, 6-3 and 6-1 victories over Missouri Western, Arkansas Tech and Newman, respectively.
 
The Vikings are back in action Saturday and Sunday to open NSIC action. On Saturday, Augustana hosts Minnesota Crookston at 7 p.m. while the match with Bemidji State is slated to begin at 9 a.m. Sunday. Both duals will be played at GreatLIFE Woodlake Athletic Club.
