SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Jolie Stecher has signed her national letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Augustana, head coach Jennifer Jacobs announced on Tuesday. Stecher, a Stewartville, Minnesota, native is a 5-11 middle blocker. 

She played in 10 matches this season and tallied 21 aces and 82 kills. On the defensive side, Stecher garnered 87 digs and 20 blocks.

Stecher also was named to the 2020 Post-Bulletin All-Area volleyball team. 

"We are super glad to round out our 2021 class with Jolie Stecher, a talented middle blocker from a storied high school program," Jacobs said. "She has a lot of range on the court and we are excited to have her!"

Over her prep career, she was a five-year varsity starter and was twice named to the All-HVL team. 

Stecher plans to major in nursing while at Augustana.
