LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Eleven Augustana softball student-athletes were honored recently as part of over 8,800 softball players across all divisions as a 2021 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete. The total marks the second-consecutive year of achieving 8,000-plus honorees.
 
Augustana's 2021 team not only performed in the classroom with a 3.511 team GPA, but also on the field holding a No. 1 national ranking for much of the season, winning the NSIC Championship and advancing to the NCAA Division II National Championship site. The Vikings concluded 2021 with a 49-8 record.
 
The team rankings and individual honors are submitted by member head coaches and recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories.
