SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Augustana soccer will host the St. Cloud State Huskies in the first round of the NSIC Tournament on Wednesday. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m. at Morstad Field. The Vikings are the second seed in the tournament and are hosting the seventh-seeded St. Cloud State Huskies.

The Game
Augustana finished its regular season against Wayne State last Friday, pushing its record to 13-3-2 overall and 12-1-2 in NSIC action.Â
St. Cloud State is 7-5-3 in conference play and 7-7-3 overall. The Huskies defeated the University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs in overtime 2-1 on Friday to secure their spot in the tournament.Â
Previously, Augustana and SCSU met on October 22 with Augustana claiming a 3-1 win.
The Huskies
St. Cloud State has recorded 21 goals in 17 games this year, holding its opponents to the same amount of goals. Claire Shea is the leading goal scorer for the Huskies, tallying nine on the season. Shea has also recorded 38 shots on goal and 63 overall shots.
Nicole Friis follows Shea in the category of goals for SCSU, recording five. Friis has tallied two assists and 33 shots on goal, with 58 shots total. Six players have scored at least one goal during regular season play for St. Cloud State.
Evie Kohn is the lone goalkeeper for the Huskies. Kohn faced 191 shots during the regular season and made 65 saves. She holds a save percentage of 0.756 entering the postseason.
The Vikings
Augustana is coming off of a program record-breaking game at Wayne State, holding the record for most-consecutive wins in a season at 10. Alexis Legg propelled the Vikings past Wayne State with her 12th goal of the season. Legg has tallied four game-winning goals in 16 games in regular-season play.Â
Sylvia Fehr has led AU with 13 assists, leading the team and ranking fourth in the country in assists. Fehr has also tabbed 18 shots on goal and 28 total shots.
Morgan Keirstead has tallied six goals and eight assists during the regular season. Keirstead has held together the midfield for Augustana this season, recording 20 points.Â
Augustana has two goalkeepers in sophomore Jillian Barkus and senior Meghan Kuntz. Barkus has started in 17 of the 18 games in the regular season and has a save percentage of 0.844.Â
