Torri Chute has been named the NSIC Player of the Week after the four games played in Emporia, Kansas. This is Chute's first-career weekly honor.

The third-ranked Vikings went 4-0 at the Missouri Western Classic, Emporia Edition, while Chute hit .400 with eight RBI. She recorded six hits and scored four runs.

In a pair of victories over No. 23 Central Oklahoma, she totaled three RBI on a pair of hits, including a double. In the two wins over Emporia State, she hit a home run, totaled four hits and drove in five runs.

Augustana, 8-2 on the season, is at Missouri Southern on Monday looking to extend a current five-game winning streak to seven.
