BURNSVILLE, Minn -- Augustana junior student-athlete Megan Means earned her first NSIC Track Athlete of the Week honors the league office announced Monday.

Means, a Norfolk, Nebraska, native competed in the 5,000m at the Blue Oval invitational in Des Moines, Iowa, where she placed second in a time of 17:01.22. As the top Division II finisher at the event, she leads the conference with the time which was a provisional mark that currently sits her eighth in the nation. 

The Augustana track team returns to action on April 1 at the Dordt Invitational.
