BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Augustana junior Mary Pardo has been named the NSIC Player of the Week after hitting .471 and leading the No. 1 Vikings to a 6-0 record.
 
Pardo, who totaled eight hits over the week, hit five home runs. In addition, she scored 11 runs, tallied seven RBI and earned seven walks over the week. She also stole six bases. All of those totals not only led Augustana over the week, but led the NSIC over the six-game period.
 
For the season, Pardo is hitting .356 with an NSIC-best 13 home runs. She also leads the league in slugging percentage at .833.
 
Augustana is back in action Thursday to face Sioux Falls at Sherman Park.
