BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- Augustana sophomore Ryan Hartman has been awarded the NSIC's Athlete of the Week the league office announced Tuesday.

Hartman, a native of Wausau, Wisconsin, won his first collegiate cross country meet coming at the 10th Annual Augustana Twilight in a time of 19:21.25. He finished the four mile race over thirteen seconds before the next finisher.  

He led the No. 9 nationally ranked Vikings to a second-place finish with a team score of 35 points. 

The Augustana cross country teams return to competition at the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by Minnesota on Friday, Sept. 24.
