SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Jadyn Schetnan has signed her national letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Augustana head coach Jennifer Jacobs announced Wednesday. Schetnan, a Sioux Falls, South Dakota, native is a 5-9 libero/defensive specialist.
In her senior season for Washington High School, Schetnan accumulated 627 digs, 53 assists and 53 aces.
The South Dakota Second Team All-State honoree was named the Libero of the Year and earned All-Tournament honors during her senior campaign. Schetnan helped the Warriors to a 30-2 record and a runner-up finish at the state tournament.
"Jadyn is a great addition to our program and we are so excited for her," Jacobs said. "Her ball control and court awareness is definitely going to continue to raise the playing level in our gym.
"That coupled with her unwavering care/love for her teammates and hard work ethic, she's going to do great things here!"
Schetnan plans to major in business while at Augustana.
