SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana men's tennis team is slated to start its inaugural season in the MIAA facing North Division opponents Emporia State and Newman on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's match against Emporia State is slated for a 2 p.m. start while Sunday's match with Newman taking place after the conclusion of the women's match.

The Vikings have four conference matches this season with the remaining two matches coming against Washburn and Northwest Missouri State coming on March 18-19.

Augustana's lineup may have a different look from years prior with the welcoming of five freshmen to the roster.

Among the newcomers, Henry Dornbusch stood out having a noteworthy fall stint, winning two matches in a dual against Gustavus Adolphus. He won his second match in a third-set tie-breaker.

In the same match, Tyson Cowger and Nicholas LaPoint won in doubles action, besting their opponents 7-5.
