KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Augustana men's tennis team was picked to finish fifth in the MIAA Preseason Coaches Poll, announced by the conference Thursday morning. 

Augustana men's tennis comes into the 2026 season after a 9-8, 2025 season. The Vikings garnered 19 points in the North Division. The institutions competing in the North Division include Augustana, Emporia State, Nebraska-Kearney, Newman, Northwest Missouri and Washburn. The South Division's institutions are Arkansas-Fort Smith, Harding, Ouachita, Southeastern Oklahoma State and Southern Arkansas. 

The Vikings serve up the season next week as they face Kearney on Jan. 30 in conference play at Huether Match Pointe.
