SIOUX FALLS, S.D.--The Augustana women's soccer team added another player to its signing class on Friday. Connor Rylance will enroll in the fall of 2022.

Barkus on Rylance: "As a defender, Connor will bring a ton of experience and composure to what will be a young back line for us this fall. She has been competing at an extremely high level at Sporting Blue Valley for several years, which I believe will be a massive asset for her when she arrives and works to compete immediately in our program! Connor is very skilled on the ball and reads the game exceptionally well, plus her ability to organize her teammates will be a huge positive for our team. She is dependable, incredibly difficult to beat and tremendous in buildout and in possession when her team wins the ball. I am extraordinarily excited for Connor to join our program this fall!"

High School: Rylance will graduate from St. James Academy in Lenexa, Kansas, in May of 2022. She plays for the Sporting Blue Valley ECNL team which finished fourth in the conference with an overall record of 9-3-1.

Personal: Rylance was born on May 31, 2004 in Shawnee, Kansas, to parents Jodi and David Rylance. She enjoys travelling, experimental cooking and reading. While at Augustana, she plans to major in Biology.
