GREENSBORO, N.C. –
Pedro Borin became the first Agustana men's swimmer to compete in an event at the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships on day two of the event inside of the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
Borin led the Vikings during their inaugural season as a team and capped it off with a trip to the NCAA Championships. He competed in his first event Thursday, the 100 fly, where he finished with a time of 49.87.
Borin will next be in the pool Friday afternoon in the 200 Fly.
The day was capped off with
Taylor Beagle swimming in her second event of this year's NCAA Championships where she swam in the 400 IM swimming a time of 4:24.48 to place 17th.
Beagle will be back in the pool Friday morning where she will compete in her third event, the 500 Free.
Joining Borin and Beagle is
Nesrine Jelliti as she will compete in the 100 Breast.
