BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Augustana softball student-athlete Delaney Young has been named the NSIC Player of the Week. The Vikings went 7-1 overall in Florida as part of The Spring Games.
 
Young batted .440 over the eight games and held a .533 on-base percentage. She tallied a team-high 11 RBI and added four walks. In addition, she cracked a pair of home runs as part of her .720 slugging percentage.
 
Augustana, ranked No. 8 in NCAA Division II, is back in action Friday at the Missouri Western Tournament in St. Joseph, Missouri.
