BLUE SPRINGS, Mo.--The Augustana men's golf team placed 10th in the NSIC Preview Invitational that took place on Monday and Tuesday. The tournament was held at Adams Pointe Golf Club in Blue Springs, Missouri, and a total of two rounds were played. Eighteen teams competed in the tournament including 10 NSIC teams.

Will Allen led the Vikings and finished in a tie for 27th place. Allen shot 78 on day one of the tournament and 74 on day two to total 152 strokes. Following behind Allen was Alex Stanz who finished in a tie for 32nd. Stanz logged a total of 154 strokes in the tournament. 

Hunter Von Bergen finished in the middle of the group for Augustana, placing in a tie for 41st. Von Bergen tallied 155 strokes.

Placing in a tie for 66th was Jacob Lee who recorded 84 strokes on day one. Lee picked it up on day two and logged 76 strikes to bring his total to 160 strokes.

Rounding out the five-player team for the Vikings was Jordan Slagle. Slagle finished the tournament with 168 strokes and placed in a tie for 92nd.

Competing as individuals were Sam Sutcliffe and Cullen Johnson. Johnson totaled 152 strokes to finish in a tie for 25th. Sutcliffe placed in a tie for 45th with 156 strokes.

Augustana will host the Augustana Invite at Elmwood Golf Course in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on April 9 and 10.
