SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – For the first time since 2019, the Augustana football team will host a Spring Game. The annual affair between the Gold Team (defense) and White Team (offense) will begin at 1 p.m. in Kirkeby-Over Stadium and will be the first time the general public can see the defending NSIC Champions in person. In addition, tailgating will be open at 8 a.m. in the West Lot of K-O Stadium.

Admission is free; however, fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable canned good item as a donation to support Feeding South Dakota. Support Feeding South Dakota and its mission to end hunger by participating in the food drive.

The Spring Game will have four quarters of football with a 15-minute running clock each quarter. Field position changes will be dictated by play result or special teams. All drives that follow a touchdown or field goal will begin at the 25-yard line. At halftime, the Augustana spirit squads will have a special performance.

Scoring System for Spring Game
Offensive Scoring
- Run of greater than 10 yards – 1 point
- Pass of greater than 20 yards – 1 point
- Consecutive 1st Downs = 1 point
- Field Goal = 3 points
- Touchdowns = 6 points
- Successful Point-After-Attempt = 1 point

Defensive Scoring
- Touchdown = 6 points
- PAT (defensive) – 1 point
- Turnover = 3 points
- Forced Punt = 1 point
- Sack/Tackle for loss = 1 point

In addition to the Augustana spirit squads halftime performance, the 2022 Augustana football captains will be announced at halftime.
