AUSTIN, Texas – Augustana senior swimmer Taylor Beagle has been recognized on the 2021-22 CoSIDA Division II Academic All-America At-Large First Team, CoSIDA announced Wednesday. The honor is the third of Beagle's career and the second time that she has been named to the All-Academic First Team.
The at-large program for the CoSIDA Academic All-America® program includes the sports of fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming and diving, tennis, water polo for both men and women; bowling, crew and field hockey for women; and volleyball and wrestling for men.Â
Beagle owns a 3.94 GPA studying biology. She was the NSIC Swimmer of the Meet and finished First-Team All-America in both the 1,000m-free (fourth place) and the 1,650-free (fourth place) at the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships. The Lead, South Dakota, native set the NSIC record in the 1,000-free and 1,650-free. She also broke two school records en route to her All-America honors, breaking the school record in the 1,000m-free (10:02.25) and the 1,650-free (16:45.83).

The 2021-22 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom.
