SIOUX FALLS, S.D.-- Augustana soccer has added another player to its signing class on Thursday. Audrey Parnell will enroll in the fall of 2022.

Barkus on Parnell: "Audrey will be a great fit for our program and I am truly looking forward to having her join Augie soccer this fall! She is extremely technical, explosive and, quite the dynamic attacking player, that we were looking for to finalize our class. Plus, her experience playing at a high level for Stuart Trench at Slavo SC, I know she will be prepared to compete immediately! I love her attitude to take her opponents 1v1 and her creativity in the attacking third will add just one more dimension to our teams attacking play. I am thrilled that Audrey will be wearing the Navy and Gold this fall!"

High School: Parnell graduated from Two Rivers High School in June of 2022. As a senior, Parnell helped her team to their first section game win in 25 years. She was also the leading scorer for five years, started on varsity for five years, was a team captain for two years, and finished her senior season as the team's leader in goals and assists.

Personal: Parnell is the daughter of Melonne and Richard Parnell. She has one older sister and plans to major in exercise science while at Augustana.
