CORAL SPRINGS, Fla.-- The Augustana women's golf team earned the WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award for the second year in a row. The Vikings ranked 23rd in the top-25 in Division II for the 2021-22 academic year.
Augustana tallied a team GPA of 3.663.
Previously this summer, four Vikings were named to the 2021-22 WGCA All-American Scholar Team. Lauren Tims, Natalie Young, Molly Stevens and Shannon McCormick received the honor from the Women's Golf Coaches Association.
The NSIC Championship team was competitive on the course and in the classroom in 2021-22. Tims, Young and Stevens were named to the All-NSIC First Team with Stevens named as the NSIC Player of the Year.
Kait Asklund, Rachel Halvorson, Masy Mock, Hanna Morin, Sophia Salter, Rachel Schwarz and Annika Stensrud complete the 11-player roster. Coralee Jorgensen, in her second year leading the Vikings, was named the NSIC Coach of the Year for the second consecutive year after picking up the honor in 2020-21.
