LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Augustana softball team saw 11 student-athletes named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes as announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. The 11 Vikings join more than 7,500 student-athletes from across the nation and all levels of softball.
 
While earning the NSIC Championship and Tournament Championship on the field in 2022, the Vikings as a team earned a 3.458 GPA in the classroom. Augustana concluded the season with a 50-10 record, the fifth such season of 50 or more wins under head coach Gretta Melsted.
 
Team GPAs and individual honors are submitted by NFCA member head coaches and recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the association's membership categories.
