SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – A Rededication Ceremony and Open House of the renovated Bowden Field will take place Thursday, Sept. 22 at 4 p.m. The public is invited to attend the ceremony, hear from key constituents of the project and receive a tour of the facility from Viking softball student-athletes.
 
Construction on the renovated facility began in 2021 and was completed this past spring giving the 2019 NCAA Division II National Champions a championship-level home field. The all-turf field is complemented by heated dugouts, a team area for Vikings, bullpens for each team, suites, a plaza and chairback seating.
