LARCHWOOD, Iowa – Behind individual medalist Jacob Stewart, the Augustana men's golf team placed runner-up at the USF Invitational concluding Tuesday. Stewart fired a pair of rounds under par to win by a stroke, his first tournament victory.

How It Happened

• Stewart fired a 2-under-par 70 in the opening round and followed with a 71 to win the event with 141 strokes.
• Will Allen placed in a tie for eighth place with 148 strokes.
• Emmet Hansen followed an opening-round 78 with a 1-under-par 71 on Tuesday. He placed in a tie for 12^th.
• Augustana's point scorers concluded with Cullen Johnson in a tie for 17^th (150) and Zach Stanz in a tie for 29^th (156).
• The Vikings also had a second team in the tournament with Spencer Wittstruck leading the way in a tie for 19^th. Jimmy Mendel made his Augustana debut with 155 strokes.
