SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana soccer looks to rally as it hits the road for a Friday night match against Wayne State before returning home for a Sunday affair against Sioux Falls.

The Wildcats
Wayne State (5-4-2, 3-2-2) returns to its home pitch after a conference win against Concordia-St.Paul by a score of 1-0. Paige Pemberton netted the lone goal in the affair with an assist by Reagan Allen.
WSU is led by Skyler Stueckrath who leads the team with nine points by way of four goals and one assist. Maia Vacks and Allen round out the top three with their respective seasons still in play. Vacks has netted four goals while Allen has two.
The Wildcats rank in the top-25 in save percentage with .855. Goalkeeper Hayden Wallace was named NSIC Goalkeeper of the Week after securing her fourth shutout of the season.
The Cougars
USF (3-5-2, 3-2-2) is coming off two wins last weekend after beating Winona State 2-1 on Oct. 6 and Southwest Minnesota State 2-1 on Oct. 8. The Cougars were led by a handful of scorers as four different players found the back of the net.
Sarah Miller leads the charge for USF with six points by way of three goals. Miller is recording 50-percent of her shots on goal. Mara Nelson and Addison Westmeyer have been key contributors to the offensive as they have both recorded three points.
The Cougars rank fifth in the nation in save per game with an average of nine per game. USF have split duties between Caroline Titze and Delani Daubman. Daubman, an Omaha, Neb., native was named NSIC Goalkeeper of the Week back in early October.
The Vikings
AU (5-4-2, 3-3-1) is led by a handful of scorers as
Hope Korte leads the charge with 10 points by way of five goals. Korte is hitting the net .733 percent of the time with 11 shots on goal.
Annika Bard and
Paige Bracker help lead the charge with four points a piece.
Jillian Barkus has stood tall throughout the season with five clean sheets while stopping 76-percent of her shots. Barkus holds a career record of 30-15-6 while ranking eighth in program history with 213 saves.
Augustana ranks seventh in the country and first in the conference in shot accuracy by hitting the woodwork 61.8-percent of the time.
Brandon Barkus is in his 17th season at the helm as he holds a career record of 177-107-32.
