BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Augustana women's golfer Lanie Veenendall has been named the NSIC Golfer of the Week after she led Augustana to the Musting Invite victory while also earning individual medalist honors.
 
NSIC Women's Golfer of the Week
- Won the EverSpring Inn & Suites Mustang Invite by five strokes over teammate Shannon McCormick
- Fired a personal best round of 68 (4-under-par) in the opening round
- Finished at even par for the event at144 strokes
- Helped Augustana set a tournament record with 589 strokes, besting the previous of 602 set by AU in 2011
- The Vikings also recorded a round record with 292 strokes in the opening round, besting the previous record by AU from 2011 and 2021

Augustana has now won two of its first three events in 2023-24 and is back in action Oct. 9-10 at the USF Invite in Larchwood, Iowa.
