SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana head men's golf coach Mike Krsnak has announced the addition of two signees on National Signing Day. Kaiden Brovold and Henry Hartquist have inked their name to Viking men's golf.
 
"I am very excited about these two student-athletes signing to our men's golf program," Krsnak said. "Both of these players have a ton of talent, both on the golf course and in the classroom. I have high hopes these two will make an immediate impact on our golf program going forward."
 
Kaiden Brovold | St. Peter, Minn. | St. Peter High School
Kaiden Brovold will join Augustana after a prep career that saw him earn All-State honors while claiming the Big South Conference Medalist honors as a junior. Brovold totaled eight tournament wins his junior season while holding a scoring average of 73.3 strokes per round.
 
As a sophomore, Brovold averaged 76 strokes per round while earning a sixth place finish at the Minnesota State Tournament.
 
Brovold plans to earn a degree in accounting and finance at Augustana.
 
Henry Hartquist | Luverne, Minn. | Luverne High School
Henry Hartquist will join Augustana after a career that saw him finish runner-up at the conference championship while holding a scoring average of 73.2 strokes per round as a junior. In his sophomore campaign, Hartquist was the conference champion and earned First Team All-State honors. He held a scoring average of 75.6.
 
Competing as a sophomore, he earned First Team All-Conference accolades with a 77.6 stroke average.
 
Hartquist plans to earn a degree in biology with a pre-med focus at Augustana.
