"Wow, what a match!" said Augustana head coach Marc Kurtz. "We played a great match against a very strong Iowa Central team. They are currently ranked No. 8 in the nation in JUCO. We battled in every position and it was huge for us to come out strong and get the doubles point. Getting that doubles point gave us some momentum going into singles play. Five of the six singles matches went to a third set tiebreaker and we fought to the very end. Freshman Clayton Poppenga was able to come through and get the clinch for us. It was an awesome match!"
