SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana men's tennis squad heads into the heart of conference action this weekend with matches against Emporia State and Newman. The Vikings will travel to the Sunflower State of Kansas to face Emporia State in Topeka, Kansas, on Saturday and Newman in Wichita, Kansas, on Sunday. 

The Vikings
The men enter this weekend's contests with a 5-6 overall record and an 0-1 record in the MIAA. Last week, the men traveled to Orlando, Florida, and played four matches across their Spring Break Trip. The Vikings claimed two victories over the week with a 4-2 win over Michigan Tech and a 7-0 win over John Carroll. 

Leading Augustana in singles wins is Henry Dornbusch with a 6-5 overall record. Dornbusch has been the predominant No. 1 singles contender for his second season with the Vikings. 

In doubles action, Dornbusch is joined by Cade Damgaard to form the No. 1 doubles pair. They lead Augustana in wins with a 5-3 dual record.

The Hornets
Emporia State enters this weekend's match with a 4-5 overall record. The Hornets recorded their last win on March 6, with a 4-3 victory over McPherson College. In singles action No. 1 Dominik Simunovic leads ESU in wins with a 2-2 overall record. In doubles play, Simunovic is joined by Harrison Brown with a 3-1 dual record. 

The Jets
Newman enters this weekend's match with an 8-5 overall record. Newman picked up its last win on March 14 with a 6-1 win over Kansas Wesleyan University. No current stats are available for the Jets.
