INDIANAPOLIS – The Augustana swimming & diving squad is set to compete at the NCAA National Championships in Indianapolis Wednesday-Saturday. The Vikings qualified two individuals and two relays to compete at the championships.Â
Bryn Greenwaldt, the NSIC Swimmer of the Year, will be competing in three events. The three events include the 100-yard backstroke, 100-yard freestyle and 50-yard freestyle.Â
Kamryn Robarge is the second individual racing this week and will be a competitor in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle.
In that event, Greenwaldt enters with the second-fastest time at 22.50 seconds. Robarge enters with the 23rd fastest time at 23.35. Greenwaldt owns the ninth-fastest time in the 100-freestyle with a time of 50.41 seconds. Robarge has the 42nd fastest time in the 100-free.
Nesrine Jelliti will be an alternate for the 100-backstroke with her time of 1:03.77.
The Augustana relay teams consist of the 200-yard freestyle and the 200-yard medley. Along with Greenwaldt, Robarge and Jelliti, the Vikings will also travel Meesha Montgomery, Makoa Montgomery and Angelina Chan to form the relay teams. The freestyle relay has a seed time of 1:32.80 while the medley relay has a seed time of 1:42.66.
