WEST LIBERTY, W.V. – The Augustana acrobatics and tumbling team had 10 of its members named to the 2023 National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) Academic Honor Roll. Completing its first year of competition, the 10 members are the first-ever to earn the recognition for academic.
 
To earn the honor, student-athletes must hold a 3.30 GPA or higher. In all, the NCATA honored 516 student-athletes.
 
Augustana completed its inaugural season with a 5-2 record with the only two losses coming against top-five nationally-ranked opponents. The Vikings tallied a high score of 266.765 points in their win over Concordia-Wisconsin on March 17. They then followed with a tri-meet victory over Trine and Adrian to close the season.
