SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Augustana tennis teams had six of its student-athletes selected by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) to the 2022-23 Academic All-District team. The honorees are Laura Arce Vieyra, Emily Granson, Aleksandra Kistanova, Margarita Chouliara, Tyson Cowger and Henry Dornbusch.  

Laura Arce Vieyra
Held a 13-2 singles record in the No. 4 singles position.
Competed in the No. 2 doubles position with a 18-4 overall record
Member of the 2023 NSIC regular season and tournament title team

Emily Granson
Competed in the No. 3 doubles position with a 16-7 overall record
Member of the 2023 NSIC regular season and tournament title team

Aleksandra Kistanova
Held a 12-3 singles record in the No. 2 and 3 positions.
Competed in the No. 1 doubles position with a 18-4 overall record
Member of the 2023 NSIC regular season and tournament title team
2023 NSIC Elite 18 recipient

Margarita Chouliara 
Held a 17-3 singles record in the No. 6 singles position.
Member of the 2023 NSIC regular season and tournament title team

Tyson Cowger
Held a 6-11 singles record in the No. 4 singles position.
Competed in the No. 2 and 3 doubles positions with a 8-10 overall record
MIAA/GAC Player of the Week recipient

Henry Dornbusch
Held a 13-5 singles record in the No. 1 singles positions.
Competed in the No. 1 doubles slot with a 9-9 overall record

The Division II and III CSC Academic All‐America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022‐23 Divisions II and III Academic All‐ America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All‐America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
