KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Augustana men's tennis team saw seven of its student-athletes earn MIAA/GAC Academic Awards. Henry Dornbusch earned the Scholar-Athlete Award while seven others earned Academic Honor Roll: Gavin Schmit, Cade Damgaard, Joseph Plachy, Tyson Cowger, Christian Cortinas and Meg Siritaworachan. ­­­

Academic Honor Roll Award Criteria
a) Have a cumulative grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 at the certifying member institution.
b) Have at least two terms of grades reported at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.
 
Scholar-Athletes Award Criteria 
a) Have a cumulative grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.50 at the certifying member institution.
b) Have at least two terms of grades reported at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.
c) If competing in a championship sport of the MIAA, the student-athlete must earn All-MIAA honors. 
d) If competing in a sport without an MIAA championship, the student-athlete must either be selected to an All-Region/District team in a team sport, or qualify for the national meet in an individual sport.
