SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Augustana Athletics has partnered with Ballena to create a virtual rendering of Midco Arena, the future home of Augustana Hockey. The Vikings will drop the puck in Midco Arena in January 2024 after playing the first five home games of their inaugural season at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. 
 
Ballena's Seats3D technology will aid in the seat selection process for Augustana Hockey season ticket holders, which will take place in mid-July. The virtual rendering can be accessed at GoAugie.com/VirtualMidcoArena.
 
"We are excited to partner with Ballena and Seats3D to provide our fans this interactive technology for them to see the views of the ice from different sections throughout the arena and eventually select their seats virtually," assistant AD for ticketing and annual giving Jordon Boe said. "We hope that this allows fans to familiarize themselves with Midco Arena before stepping foot in the building for the first time and feel comfortable with the location of their seats.

With the virtual rendering, fans are able to click on all sections and seat types in Midco Arena to see the view of the ice, proximity to the concourse, pricing of season tickets and more. 
 
Season tickets for the inaugural season of Augustana hockey are on sale now. All Augustana hockey season ticket holders are required to be members of the A-Club. Membership level determines how many hockey season tickets fans are able to purchase as well as where in Midco Arena they will be able to select their seats. May 31 is the deadline for A-Club membership and season ticket purchases to be part of the priority seat selection process.
