EAGAN, Minn. – Augustana football alum CJ Ham has been named to the 2024 NFL Pro Bowl Games the NFL announced Tuesday. Ham, recently surpassing 100 career NFL games, just completed his eighth season with the Minnesota Vikings. The 2023 season marked the third time he was voted a team captain.

"It's such an honor to go back to the NFL Pro Bowl Games and represent the Vikings with my guys, Andrew (DePaola) and Danielle (Hunter)," Ham recently told Lindsey Young, a writer for Vikings.com. "In this league, to even be considered for this game is a huge honor that I definitely don't take lightly.

"My family and I are really looking forward to making some more memories in Orlando," he added. "SKOL Vikings!"

Ham played in his 100th career game in Week 4 at Carolina this season and appeared in all 17 games for Minnesota. He led NFC fullbacks in overall offensive grade and pass block grade, while his run block grade was second in the conference.

"I couldn't be prouder of CJ for once again receiving the honor of being named to the Pro Bowl," Augustana head coach Jerry Olszewski said. "He is the definition of what a role model is in our game. He is not only great on the field and in the locker room, but also the community as he uses his platform to inspire others to be their best and serve others.

"Every team would be blessed to have a leader with his talent, character and passion!"

The contest marks the second Pro Bowl appearance for Ham as he also participated following the 2019 season.

The Pro Bowl Games begin Thursday in Orlando, Florida, with the Skills Showdown at 6 p.m. on ESPN. The Pro Bowl Games Championship airs on Sunday at 2 p.m. across multiple channels including ESPN, ABC and ESPN+.
