About the Game
The Vikings and Beavers will meet for the sixth time in series history. The last time the Vikings and Beavers matched up,
Jarod Epperson collected 201 total yards and a touchdown in a 49-0 victory. After dropping the first ever meeting in 2013, the Vikings have won four consecutive meetings. That includes the previous two meetings in which AU has outscored the Beavers 100-6.
Scouting the Enemy
The Beavers enter the week 4-2 overall and 3-2 in the NSIC after a narrow loss at Wayne State last weekend.
Minot has three players over 200 yards rushing and are led by Evan Lovetts's 477 yards and three touchdowns. Quarterback Carson Chrisman has also been a force in the ground game with 298 yards and six touchdowns. Chrisman averages just under five pass attempts a game and has thrown for 200 yards on a 53.6 completion percentage.
Kevin Speed has racked up 32 total tackles and a pair of tackles for loss while Julian Kameristy has recorded 2.5 sacks. Naiu Cordeiro's three interceptions, including two returned for touchdown, lead the team.

Gunnar Hensley found
Jack Fisher in the end zone with 56 seconds to play and the final play of regulation fell incomplete in the end zone as the Augustana football team claimed a Viking Days victory over Minnesota Duluth, 28-24, on Saturday afternoon at Kirkeby-Over Stadium.
Hensley finished the game 22 of 27 for 291 yards and a pair of touchdowns without turning the ball over. Fisher had his third consecutive game over 100 yards receiving, catching eight passes for 148 yards and the game-winning touchdown.
Peyton Buckley was all over the field defensively, making eight tackles, including a tackle for loss, and had a pair of pass breakups.
Isaiah Huber had another great all-purpose performance with 70 receiving yards and 46 punt return yards while catching a touchdown pass.
Kade Lynott picked up a sack and tied for a team-high with 10 tackles and
Isaiah Ryan also added 10 tackles and had two pass breakups.
It has been quite the coming out party for Hensley. The Carlsbad, California native earned NSIC Offensive Player of the Week honors after throwing for 358 yards and four passing touchdowns while adding a four-yard receiving touchdown in a 41-7 win over Northern State on Sept. 21. He accounted for all five of his touchdowns in the first half and completed 28 of 35 passes.
Hensley currently leads the country in completion percentage at 75.9 percent, ranks fifth with 10.2 yards per attempt, 21.0 points responsible for and 186.8 passing efficiency, eighth with 294.8 passing yards per game. He has also thrown for 12 touchdowns, 18th most in the country.
Special teams has, again, been a strength for this year's team as they average 14.83 yards per punt return, 19th in the country, and allow just 13.79 yards per kick return, seventh in DII. They've also had success on their own kick returns, ranking 13th in the country with 27.45 yards per kick return.
Offensively, the Vikings rank fourth with a 70.4 completion percentage, 14th in passing offense at 279.8 yards per game. They're also 16th in red zone offense, scoring at a 90 percent clip inside the 20.
Defensively, it has been all about the front seven. The Vikings average 3.60 sacks per game, fifth in the country, and are 20th in rushing defense allowing 82.4 rushing yards per game. The defense has also stood tall in the biggest moments, ranking 31st in opponent fourth down conversion percentage, allowing 33.3 percent.
The Augustana defense has spent plenty of time in the backfield this season. The Vikings second in the NSIC with 7.0 tackles for loss per game and 3.60 sacks per game.
Will Davis (4.5)
Myles Taylor (3.5) and
Kade Lynott (3.0) make the Vikings the only team in the NSIC with three players with at least three total sacks in conference play. Nine Vikings have at least 0.5 sacks and 15 have at least 0.5 tackles for loss.
