The Huskies dropped last Friday's game 3-0 before bouncing back with a 4-0 win on Saturday. Tyson Gross, Gavyn Thoreson, Grant Ahcan and Barrett Hall netted goals in SCSU's fourth win of the season.Â
Isak Posch has started in all five of the Huskies games and holds a goals-against average of 1.41 and a save percentage of .952. Through five starts, Posch has only allowed seven goals.Â
Austin Burnevik leads the Huskies in points with three goals and three assists for six points. Burnevik, a freshman from Blaine, Minnesota is a sixth-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft by the Anaheim Ducks.Â
The Vikings
Augustana comes into the weekend after a weekend sweep over then-No. 12 Omaha by scores of 2-1 and 4-0.Â
Josh Kotai made 67 saves over the weekend and was named CCHA Goalie of the Week, a program's first weekly honor. The Sophomore netminder has started in all four games this season and is ranked second in the nation in save percentage with .969. He also leads the nation in shutouts with two.Â

Luke Mobley leads the Vikings with four goals, including two game-winners and a key shorthanded goal. He rides a four-game goal streak going into the weekend.Â

Payton Matsui has hit the ice in stride to start off the 2024-25 season. A playmaking specialist, he has three assists through four games and holds a plus/minus of five. Matsui has also potted one goal for a season total of four points.Â
