ST. PAUL, Minn. – Augustana hockey senior Owen Baumgartner was recognized by the CCHA following a dominant weekend on the road at Ohio State, league officials announced on Monday.
 
The Owatonna, Minn.-native tallied two points on the weekend for the then-No. 13/15 Vikings with one goal and one assist in the series sweep over the Buckeyes. Baumgartner netted his first goal of the year in the second period of Friday's 3-2 overtime win before dishing an assist in Saturday's first period scoring flurry en route to a 4-3 series-clinching victory. He also led the blueline with a +2 rating, three blocked shots and three shots on goal.
 
Augustana returns to home ice this weekend as the Vikings are set to face the Wildcats of Northern Michigan on Friday and Saturday inside Midco Arena.
