ST. PAUL, Minn. – Christian Manz has been named CCHA Rookie of the Week after his collegiate debut in Saturday's 2-1 loss to No. 12/14 St. Cloud State, announced by the CCHA Monday afternoon. Manz recorded 28 saves in 57:11 of action. 

Manz played in the USHL for the Chicago Steel and Sioux Falls Stampede three seasons before arriving in Augustana. The Blaine, Minnesota native saw action in Augustana's exhibition win over North Dakota on Oct. 5 where he turned away 13 shots. 

Augustana kicks off CCHA action this weekend as it travels to Mendota Heights, Minnesota to play St. Thomas on Friday and Saturday.
