Six Vikings Named to NSIC All-Conference Teams

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – The Augustana soccer team had six Vikings named to the NSIC All-Conference Teams, announced by the conference Thursday morning. Across the league, 17 players were named the first team and 38 were named the second team. 

Madelyn White was named to the NSIC first team, while Taya Baker, Sierra Barkus, Macie Haggerty, Ally Hamski and Ashlyn Kelliher were named to the second team. 

White led the Vikings with 15 points by way of four goals and seven assists. White tallied key goals in Augustana's wins over Rogers State, Wayne State and Northern State. In two seasons with the Vikings, she has started in 21 games and has recorded six goals and nine assists for a career point total of 21.

Baker was named to the NSIC second team after a strong 2024 campaign between the pipes where she recorded a record of 7-1-2. She held a goals-against average of .64 and a save percentage of .870 in 10 games. Baker allowed six goals on the season while she faced 95 shots. 

Barkus earned her first career all-conference honor after a senior season where she scored three goals and one assist for seven points in 19 games played. Barkus netted goals against Central Missouri, Bemidji State and Southwest Minnesota State. She closed out her career with five goals and three assists for 13 points in 78 games played. 

Haggerty finished second on the team in scoring with four goals and two assists for 10 points and was named to the All-Conference second team. Haggerty found the back of the net against Central Missouri, Sioux Falls, Northern State and Southwest Minnesota State. In 57 career games, she scored five goals and three assists for 13 points. 

Hamski earned second-team honors after she finished the season with nine points by way of four goals and one assist in 19 games played. Hamski tallied goals against Minnesota State, Minnesota Duluth, Sioux Falls and Minnesota-Crookston. In 19 games played, Hamski played 1,143 minutes. Through three seasons, Hamski has played in 55 games and has recorded eight goals and two assists.

Kelliher played a key role on the backend for Augustana and was named All-Conference second team. She started in 16 of 17 games played and recorded 1,309 minutes of action. Kelliher tallied one shot on the season in Augustana's 1-0 win over St. Cloud State.
