SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Head coach
Marc Kurtz of Augustana men's and women's tennis announced the signing of two student-athletes for his 2024 class. Drew Gohl and Fernanda Sandoval Rodriguez will join the Vikings in the fall of 2024.

Fernanda Sandoval | 5'4 | Mexico | Universidad Del Valle de Mexico
Rodriguez joins the Vikings from her home state of Mexico where she shined in multiple matches. The incoming freshman is the daughter of Francisco Sandoval and Marbella Rodriguez and a sibling to Mariana Sandoval and Francisco Sandoval.
I watched Fernanda play this past Summer and liked her athleticism. Her footwork is great and she has a great demeanor on the court. She will immediately impact our roster and we are excited that she chose Augustana."
Drew Gohl | 6'1 | Sioux Falls, South Dakota | Lincoln
Gohl stays in his hometown of Sioux Falls after an impressive career with Lincoln High School. The incoming Viking went undefeated in his junior year and won a state championship. Gohl is the son of JJ Gohl and Gregg Gohl.
