SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana head football coach
Jerry Olszewski has announced the hiring of Brayden Kearsley as the Vikings offensive line coach. Kearsley joins AU after spending last season at Brigham Young University.

"Coach Kearsley has played and coached at the highest level of college football as well as several positions within the offense and brings a wealth of knowledge from his experiences that will benefit our offensive production.

While at BYU, Kearsley served as an offensive line graduate assistant where he communicated the front, blitz and stunts to the offensive line coach. He oversaw all pass-pro individual drills for a team that ranked 28
th in the nation in pass protection.

Prior to BYU, he spent the 2022 season as an offensive line graduate assistant at Oklahoma State where he helped lead the scout team at practice. He led daily scout team meetings and held press box communication duties on gamedays.

He helped the Cowboys earn a spot in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl.

Kearsley also held positions at North Dakota, Southwestern Oklahoma State and Independence Community College.

As a student-athlete, Kearsley spent two years at BYU where he played as a true freshman and sophomore including a start his freshman season. He then went to Oregon State where he served as the backup center.

He garnered his degree in interdisciplinary studies from Southwestern Oklahoma State.
