BASEHOR, Kan. – Augustana men's golf capped off the Falcon Lakes Spring Invitational with a tie for second place as it scored 26-over-par Friday.
Will Allen led the charge for the Vikings as he tied for a first-place finish with a score of 69 and 72. Allen would ultimately fall in the second playoff hole for individual medalist honors.

How it Happened
- Allen recorded a nice round of 3-under-par for 69 strokes in the first round and followed with a 72 in the second tour of the course. The junior held strong on par-4s with an average stroke of 4.05 and rode that performance to the final putt to tie for first place through regulation.
- Jacob Stewart garnered an eighth spot with rounds of 72 and 79. Stewart was the lone Viking to tap in an eagle.
- Augustana was the third-best team when attacking par-5s with an average stroke of 4.95.
- Emmet Hansen shot a score of 153 throughout the event, while Zach Stanz and Cullen Johnson ended with strokes of 157 and 170.
- Augustana collected 97 pars and 20 birdies throughout the day.
