Ashton Michek through six shutout innings in a 5-0 game two win.Â

The Vikings opened the scoring in the second inning.
Joe Kolbeck reached on a one-out single before
Max Mosser was hit by a pitch. Kolbeck wheeled around after the ball was thrown away on a pickoff attempt, and Mosser came in on a
Jason Axelberg single to take a 2-0 lead.Â

Drury went on to score the next four runs for their first lead of the game. The Vikings were able to manufacture a run in the sixth inning to cut the Panther lead in half when Mosser delivered a two-out RBI single to drive in
Tate Meiners.Â

The Vikings completed the comeback in the top of the eighth. Kolbeck singled with two outs to get two on. Mosser and Axelberg delivered again from there, recording back-to-back RBI singles to give AU a 5-4 advantage.Â

Jack Hines delivered the exclamation point in the ninth inning, sending a solo home run to left for an insurance run, his third home run of the season.Â

Ethan Cole was lock-down in relief, striking out a pair on two shutout innings to earn the win.
