GREENVILLE, S.C. – Augustana hockey captain Arnaud Vachon signed with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits of the ECHL, announced by the ECHL Transactions list Thursday afternoon. 

The Ajax, Ontario native captained the Vikings in their inaugural season and helped lead them to a 12-18-4 record. Vachon tallied 16 points by way of eight goals and eight assists. 

Vachon helped the Vikings record their first-ranked win in program history with a three-point effort against then-No. 16 Arizona State. 

The fifth-year forward was named captain of the inaugural team ahead of Augustana's weekend series against Omaha back in November of 2023. 

Vachon joins the Swamp Rabbits after 160 career games in college. Greenville is the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Los Angeles Kings and the American Hockey League's Ontario Reign. The Swap Rabbits play in the Eastern Conference and hold a record of 40-18-3.
