SMITHVILLE, Mo. – Augustana men's golf finished the NSIC Preview Invitational with a seventh-place finish, scoring 27-over-par through two rounds on Monday and Tuesday.
Will Allen swang his way to a fourth-place finish with rounds of 74 and 69 for a combined score of 143.

How it Happened:
- Allen pulled together a combined score of 143 after a round one stroke count of 74 before going 3-under-par in round two with a score of 69. The junior held strong throughout the two rounds on Par-5's as he led the tournament with an average stroke of 4.38.
- Jacob Stewart rounded in the second-best finish for the Vikings as he ended tied at 20th. Stewart put together rounds of 73 and 76 for a total stroke count of 149. The sophomore garnered 25 pars throughout the event.
- Allen helped Augustana become one of three teams out of 18 to record an eagle.
- The Vikings tapped in 98 pars and 17 birdies.
- Emmet Hanson rounded out the top three for the Vikings with a 23rd-place finish as he shot a combined two rounds of 150. Hansen had an average stroke count of 4.75 when attacking par-5s.
- Augustana shot a combined score of 603, shooting 298 in round one and 305 in round two.
